Ninth Grade
To be designated as a tenth grade student, a student must have earned a grade of 70 (“D”) or above in the following:

Tenth Grade
To be designated as a eleventh grade student, a student must have earned a grade of 70 (“D”) or above in the following:

Eleventh Grade
To be designated as a twelfth grade student, a student must have earned a grade of 70 (“D”) or above in the following:

North Carolina Testing Requirements for High School
Students enrolled in English I, Algebra I, Algebra II, Biology, Physical Science, US History, and Civics and Economics will participate in the EOC (End of Course) tests. A re-test is required for any student who scores a Level II on aforementioned EOC tests. Any student who scores a Level I may retest, at parent request. Results from the End of Course assessments shall be used as at least 25% of the student’s final grade for each respective course. Tenth grade students will take the NC 10th Grade Writing test. All students in grades 10-11 will take the PSAT.
