Construction Update

As the new 2010-11 school year gets underway, the school is expanding once again, with an expected enrollment of over 600 students.

For the upcoming school year, Idlewild Road in front of the school is being widened, and an existing two-story building on campus is being renovated for classrooms and offices.   These improvements are being made to accommodate the school’s expanded enrollment when school starts, and a new modular classroom building is being constructed to provide added classrooms by the end of September.

The development of soccer and baseball fields and a new gymnasium/auditorium will be completed this winter.  Once this phase is completed, which school leaders expect by December, the school will be able to host its athletic competitions on its own campus.  Lacrosse is the latest sport to be added, bringing the number of competitive sports teams offered this year to thirteen.
