Invest in a Student

What could be more important to your child’s future than the best possible education?  Your generosity to our annual giving campaign will directly impact the daily lives of our students and programs.  With the state cutting school funding each year, Invest in a Student funds are even more critical.

Our 2009-2010 Invest in a Student goal is 100% participation by QGHS families. 100% participation will be important when we ask outside organizations for support in the future. Please remember that when we talk about 100% participation, $5.00 counts as much as $50 and $500. All gifts will be greatly appreciated. Remember you can multiply your donation if your employer has a matching gift program.

There is not an expected gift amount. However, spreading a donation out to monthly or quarterly payments may enable a family to consider a larger total contribution.

GoodSearch/GoodShop

Queens Grant High School can now earn a donation every time you search the Internet and earn a percentage of every purchase you make online.

GoodSearch.com is a Yahoo-powered search engine that donates half its advertising revenue, about a penny per search, to the charities its users designate. Use it just as you would any search engine, get quality search results from Yahoo, and watch the donations add up!

GoodShop.com is a online shopping mall which donates up to 30 percent of each purchase to your favorite cause! Hundreds of great stores including Amazon, Target, Gap, Best Buy, ebay, Macy’s and Barnes & Noble have teamed up with GoodShop and every time you place an order, you’ll be supporting our school.
